Looking to be more mindful in your interactions with your children? You’re not alone! Staying calm and present for our children can be challenging for all of us, even when we’re not exhausted or triggered. Fortunately, with a little practice, we can get better at not freaking out in response to our children’s meltdowns and tantrums.

I recently had a great conversation about how to stay calm in parenting with Shannon Kinney-Duh and Ashley Walburn of the Mindful Mama Movement. We talked about how I stay as present as possible for my children, and perhaps more importantly, how I  get myself back on track with everything gets derailed.
