My aversion to cooking is an unhelpful combination of can’t and won’t, but the point is, I rarely cook, and when I do, I find the whole experience terribly unpleasant. I want my daughters to eat a healthy, diverse diet; I just don’t want to be the one to make it. Yet it seems to be my job to feed them dinner every. single. night. Over the past few years I have developed a few rules that have made dinner prep a lot less stressful while keeping it relatively healthy.”
